About Trudi Jane Wyatt, MA, RP, CT, CCC

Hello. I have been providing counselling & psychotherapy services since 2009, starting in Southern California where I earned my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. This is my 3rd career, with a background in market research management, and fitness.

In my practice I have worked with a variety of individuals such as executives, nurses, lawyers, physicians, public servants, post-secondary students, performers, people who are required to attend therapy for different reasons, teenagers, families, groups, and others. Currently I work with individual adults living in either Calgary, the rest of Alberta, or Ontario.

I take pride in being an ethical, knowledgeable, reliable, respectful, intelligent, collaborative, and non-pathologizing counsellor, and I am very mindful of my clients’ cyber privacy and confidentiality (for example, I do not text with clients, I offer encrypted email for communications, etc.). I also encourage clients to keep up with their physical health, due to the mind-body connection.

My credentials include Registered Psychotherapist (RP, CRPO), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC, CCPA), Counselling Therapist (CT, ACTA), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California, not in use at this time).

I think we all experience various emotional or behavioural challenges from time to time, and that the role of a counsellor or psychotherapist can be to support someone in their ongoing quest to move in the direction of a more satisfying, peaceful, happy, and meaningful life.
